Finnsheep Wool Fiber Locks - Natural Browns, Washed
 
Very soft fiber locks in natural tones ranging from gray, dark brown, and light brown.  Carefully hand washed, sorted, and picked to remove vm (minimal vm may remain, mostly in undisturbed curls).  I've selected a beautiful arrangement of soft, crimpy, and curly portions of the fleece.
 
Finnsheep wool is soft, lustrous, and has a width of around 24-30 microns. It is comfortable to wear next to the skin for most people. Finnsheep wool has a medium crimp to it. The staple length of this particular fleece ranges from about 2.5 to 4 inches. Finnsheep wool spins wonderfully and felts easily, making it popular with felters and spinners alike.

🛠HOW IT’S MADE🛠

Our fibers come from our small flock of happy, healthy, pastured sheep & alpaca, as well as from a couple of neighboring small farms whom we have visited and can assure care for their herds well.  All of our fibers are processed carefully, by hand.

🧡PRODUCT CARE🧡
Store in a dry place. Handwash only.  Agitation will cause felting.  Comb, flick, card, felt, spin from the lock, or however you prefer.  Wool moths can be prevented by freezing wool, or by using cedar, lavender, orange, and other scented blocks, satchels, etc in the storage area.  Do not apply scented oils directly to the wool to avoid staining.
